Cover Story: This study analyses the transition from triportal to uniportal video–thoracoscopic lobectomy performed by a single surgeon, assessing the learning curve through CUSUM analysis and perioperative outcomes. Among 107 consecutive procedures, the inflection point was identified at the 67th case, after which operative time, conversions, and complications significantly decreased. These findings confirm that switching to uniportal VATS requires a distinct learning process despite prior multiportal experience, supporting current recommendations that approximately 50 cases are needed to achieve proficiency.
