There was an error in the original publication [1].
The chemical reaction in Equation (3) is not balanced.
Equation (3) has been updated from “In the tank: NaOH + Cl2 → NaOCl + NaCl + H2O” to “In the tank: 2NaOH + Cl2 → NaOCl + NaCl + H2O”.
There is an error in Equation (6): The power consumption on the left is given in an energy unit, kWh (W should have been capitalized), while on the right side the product of current, voltage and time (which is energy) is divided by volume (V) given in liters (and thus has the unit of kWh/L).
Equation (6) has been updated from
Electric   power   consumption   ( kwh ) = = I . t . U 1000   V
to
Electric   power   consumption   ( kWh / L ) = I . t . U 1000   V
The Data Availability Statement has been changed from “Data sharing is not applicable to this article as no datasets were generated or analyzed in the current study” to “The data presented in this study are available on request”.
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
