Cover Story: Climate change has been called the greatest threat to health in the 21st century. It represents an ever-escalating global crisis with far-reaching implications, impacting not only the environment but also posing significant threats to public health and safety. Fostering public health workforce knowledge and expertise through academic training and continuing professional development is critical for an effective and proactive climate resilient public health system. This scoping review explored the last decade of peer-reviewed literature to extract evidence on core competencies for public health workforce and propose a set of practical recommendations to inform the development and implementation of pedagogy approaches and learning assessments for academic programs and continuing professional development. View this paper
