Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This manuscript observes the therapeutic effects of USPIO in an artificially created fistulas animal model. The overall experimental purpose is clear, the methodology is appropriate, the data quality is good, and the results are adequately explained. Although the discussion does not have many literature reviews, this does not detract from the stunning contribution of this manuscript. This manuscript message is ideal for publication.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript entitled "A PRECLINICAL VALIDATION OF IRON OXIDE NANOPARTICLES FOR TREATMENT OF PERIANAL FISTULIZING CROHN’S DISEASE" by Antoine Cazelles et al. aims to highlight preclinical data with USPIO for the treatment of perianal fistulizing CD. The topic is of great interest. Overall the work is well written and clearly presented and based on this fact I propose the publication in IJMS in the current form.
