This study, based on social information processing theory (SIPT), investigates the relationships of Green Corporate Social Responsibility (Green CSR), innovation value co-creation, brand authenticity, brand perception, word-of-mouth intention (WOM) and purchase intention among Thai consumers. Four hundred Thai consumers with EV experience, information exposure, or purchase interest were surveyed. Data were analyzed using covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) in AMOS 24. The model explained 81.0% of the variance in brand perception, 51.0% in WOM, and 64.0% in purchase intention. Green CSR, innovation value co-creation, and brand authenticity were positively associated with brand perception, which was positively associated with WOM and purchase intention; WOM was also positively associated with purchase intention. Indirect-effect analysis linked Green CSR and innovation value co-creation with both outcomes through brand perception. Although its simple indirect associations were weaker, brand authenticity showed a significant serial indirect association with purchase intention through brand perception and WOM. However, the discriminant-validity results indicated empirical overlap among constructs, requiring cautious interpretation of the structural coefficients. EV familiarity did not significantly moderate the brand perception–purchase intention relationship. Because the data were cross-sectional, temporal ordering and causality cannot be established. Overall, the findings provide qualified support for SIPT in Thailand’s EV market. Full article

This research investigates how CE initiatives, interpreted as manifestations of corporate social responsibility, shape green value co-creation, green collaborative culture, and green supply chain integration across both supplier and customer contexts. The proposed conceptual framework also explores the possibility that digital maturity can moderate these interrelations, based on signaling theory. Empirical results, obtained through PLS SEM and NCA on a data sample of 493 suppliers and customers, confirm that CE practices have a significant positive impact on green value co-creation, which, in turn, influences the green collaborative behavior of the actors and the integration of the supply chain. The moderating role of digital maturity is reinforced in the linkages between green value co-creation, collaboration, and integration. Thereby, their effectiveness is strengthened. This study adds to the literature by proposing an integrative relationship between CE practices and outcomes within the supply chain dyad, offering a rare empirical study of relationships between suppliers and organizations in an emerging economy, and shedding light on the boundary condition of digital maturity within these relationships. The results have significant implications for managers seeking to maximize their sustainability performance through circular practices and digital capabilities. Full article

This paper presents a study on green value co-creation behavior in the relationship to tourists’ behavior, including perceived green empowerment, experience value, satisfaction and brand advocacy, specifically considering the role of perceived greenwashing in these relationships based on Service-Dominant Logic. A quantitative study using the structural equation modeling analysis technique was conducted with customers of tourism businesses in Vietnam. The result of the study shows that green value co-creation behavior has a positive effect on perceived green empowerment, experience value, satisfaction and brand advocacy. In addition, the study also shows the positive effect of perceived green empowerment, experience value and satisfaction on brand advocacy. Perceived greenwashing reduces the impact of green value co-creation behavior on perceived green empowerment, experience value and satisfaction. The research results provide empirical evidence confirming the important positive role of green value co-creation and the barrier role of perceived greenwashing in achieving positive outcomes on customer behavior of tourism businesses. At the same time, the study provides useful information for managers in increasing perceived green empowerment, experience value, satisfaction and brand advocacy through customer green value co-creation activities, based on honest and standard green practices. This study examines retailers’ information sharing aimed at enhancing product greenness within green supply chains, with consumer participation as a pivotal factor and the overarching goal of advancing the sustainable development of the whole supply chain ecosystem. Each supply chain comprises a green product supplier and a retailer with uncertain demand information. A tripartite evolutionary game model involving manufacturers, retailers, and consumers is constructed to analyze the factors influencing information sharing behavior, which serves as a critical pathway to achieve environmental and economic sustainability in green supply chain operations. The findings highlight two key insights: First, strong consumer willingness to purchase green products may inhibit retailers’ inclination towards information sharing, a counterintuitive outcome that needs to be addressed to align individual stakeholder behaviors with long-term sustainable development goals. Second, lower information sharing costs can motivate retailers to share information with manufacturers; otherwise, manufacturers must adopt technological measures to assist retailers in reducing information sharing-related costs, thereby achieving win–win outcomes across the supply chain and fostering a sustainable and collaborative green supply chain system that balances ecological benefits, economic gains, and social value co-creation. This study examined how social media content influences value co-creation among organic product consumers through the mediating roles of environmental awareness, green truth, and environmental attitude. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework, social media content is conceptualized as a stimulus, environmental awareness, green trust, and environmental attitude as internal organism states, and value co-creation as the behavioral response. A cross-sectional quantitative design was applied using a 20-item questionnaire administered to 739 organic-product consumers. Data were analyzed using partial least-squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that social media content does not directly affect value co-creation but significantly influences environmental awareness, green trust, and environmental attitude. Environmental awareness and green trust positively affect both environmental attitude and value co-creation, and environmental attitude emerges as the strongest direct predictor of value co-creation. These findings confirm the mediating role of cognitive and attitudinal mechanisms in transforming digital sustainability content into collaborative consumer behavior. This study contributes to the literature on sustainable consumption by integrating communication, cognitive, and attitudinal variables in a single explanatory model. Practically, the findings suggest that sustainability communication strategies in digital environments should prioritize credibility and environmental knowledge to foster consumer participation in value co-creation. The shift toward a circular economy (CE) holds a central position in solving, globally, the long-standing environmental degradation and resource scarcity. Innovative sustainable processes and products lie at the core of such a shift, but they often face challenges associated with technological, organizational, financial, and regulatory paradigms. To date, two leading facilitators have been identified: sophisticated digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Big Data, together with the collaborative creation of value among diverse stakeholders. Although the implications of each of these enablers on sustainability are known to some extent, little is understood about how their interrelatedness can counteract implementation barriers and drive innovation. The systematic thematic literature review examines how organizations utilize digital technologies and stakeholder engagement to facilitate green innovation in Circular Economy (CE) systems. Based on Stakeholder Theory, the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, and the Resource-Based View (RBV), this review examines how organizations leverage digital technologies and stakeholder engagement to foster green innovation within circular economy systems. Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a structured search was conducted in Scopus and Web of Science, covering peer-reviewed journal articles published in English between 2013 and 2024. Using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 84 studies were retained for analysis from an initial pool of 850 records. The review integrates findings from five thematic areas: collaborative innovation among stakeholders, the use of digital technology to advance sustainability, challenges associated with adopting circular-economy values, linkages between technology and stakeholders, and the consequences of innovation. The findings suggest that collaboration between diverse stakeholders, combined with integration with digital technologies, provides a synergistic approach to maximizing innovation outcomes, overcoming implementation challenges, and diffusing circular practice. Skillfully crafted initiatives augment organizational capacities, foster collaborative actions, and advance sustainability initiatives. Despite providing a comprehensive synthesis of existing research, this review is limited by its reliance on secondary data. A qualitative quality appraisal was conducted to support the interpretation of findings. This review was not registered and received no external funding. Future research should conduct empirical analyses of these relationships and develop inclusive frameworks to guide initiatives emerging from collaborative and digital platforms across a wide range of sectors within the circular economy. Cultivating a green innovation-oriented work climate exerts a positive effect on employees’ participation in green knowledge sharing and other co-creation behaviors. Previous studies analyzed the influential factors of green value co-creation from the perspective of green motivation and green dynamic capabilities, but there is a lack of research on the antecedents of green value co-creation from the perspective of green innovation climate. Therefore, based on the social information processing theory, this paper make an in-depth research on the impact mechanism of green innovation climate on employee green value co-creation, through perception of corporate social responsibility and employees’ sense of belonging. A questionnaire survey was conducted on Chinese enterprises implementing green innovation, and 337 valid questionnaires were collected. The effect mechanism of green innovation climate on employees’ green value co-creation was analyzed by the hierarchical regression analysis method. Process regression analysis was used to explore the moderating effect of inclusive leadership. The result of the research shows that green innovation climate has a significant relation to employees’ sense of belonging, perception of corporate social responsibility and employees’ sense of belonging. Perception of corporate social responsibility and employees’ sense of belonging have mediating effects on the relations between green innovation climate and employees’ green value co-creation. Inclusive leadership can moderate the relationship between perception of corporate social responsibility and employees’ green value co-creation. In theory, from the perspectives of green innovation climate and inclusive leadership, it further enriches the research on the driving factors of green value co-creation. In practice, It provides a theoretical reference for enterprises to utilize the strategy of green innovation climate and inclusive leadership to promote green value co-creation of enterprises effectively. Against the dual demands of green transformation and digital integration in the manufacturing industry, green value co-creation has become a core pathway for enterprises to achieve sustainable development. However, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in driving green value co-creation remains under explored, especially in the context of Chinese manufacturing. To enrich this research, this study aims to investigate the impact of AI development on corporate green value co-creation and its intrinsic mechanism. This study draws on panel data of listed manufacturing enterprises listed on China’s Shanghai and Shenzhen A share markets spanning the period 2015–2024, and employs multiple regression and negative binomial regression as research methodologies to empirically examine the impact of AI development on corporate green value co-creation and its underlying mechanisms. The results demonstrate that: AI development exerts a significantly positive effect on manufacturing enterprises’ green value co-creation, which is achieved by enhancing firms’ technological spillover capacity and total factor productivity (TFP); financing constraints negatively moderate the aforementioned relationship, while corporate influence plays a positive moderating role; heterogeneity analysis reveals that this impact is more pronounced for enterprises under voluntary regulation, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and high-pollution enterprises. This study elucidates AI’s role and mechanism in corporate green development at the micro level, provides empirical evidence for related research, and offers practical insights to promote enterprise AI advancement and green value co-creation. Chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) is a Mediterranean staple food valued for its cultural heritage, gastronomic identity, nutritional profile, bioactivities, and socio-economic and environmental relevance. This narrative review synthesizes current knowledge on chestnut fruits and by-products, linking ecophysiology and genetic diversity to chemical composition and functionality. It summarizes the nutrient profile (high starch and dietary fiber; gluten-free; B vitamins; essential minerals; and favorable fatty acids) and the diversity of phytochemicals—particularly phenolic acids, flavonoids, and ellagitannins (e.g., castalagin and vescalagin)—that underpin antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-proliferative, and metabolic effects demonstrated across in vitro, cellular, and in vivo models. We compare conventional and green extraction strategies (e.g., hydroethanolic, ultrasound-/microwave-assisted, and supercritical and subcritical water), highlighting method-dependent yields, composition, and bioactivity, and the valorization of shells, burs, and leaves within circular bioeconomy frameworks. Technological applications span functional foods (gluten-free flours, beverages, and emulsions), nutraceuticals, and cosmetics (skin-protective and regenerative formulations), and active packaging/biopolymers with antioxidant and antimicrobial performance. We discuss sources of variability (cultivar, environment, maturation, and processing) affecting bioactive content and efficacy, and outline future directions. Finally, this review emphasizes the importance of university-facilitated co-creation with companies and consumers—within the framework of Responsible Research and Innovation—as a pathway to strengthen the economic valorization and full utilization of the chestnut value chain, enhancing its societal relevance, sustainability, and health-promoting potential. Green co-creation plays a vital role in promoting sustainability by engaging both firms and consumers in value creation, yet most studies examine competition and cooperation separately without considering their interplay. This study investigates the dynamics of coopetition in green co-creation by developing a two-stage biform game that integrates competitive interaction and cooperative bargaining within a unified framework. The results show that (1) greater green co-creation efforts, representing deeper firm–customer interactions, improve both parties’ equilibrium outcomes; (2) cooperation leads to greater green effort investment than pure competition; and (3) when Nash bargaining conditions are satisfied, coopetition improves both individual profits and total welfare compared with sole competition. These findings highlight that coopetition not only strengthens mutual economic benefits, but also enhances sustainability performance by balancing competitive and cooperative forces. This study provides an analytical foundation for understanding firm–customer coopetition and offers actionable insights for advancing sustainable value creation in green supply chain management. At present, the digital construction of museums has created a novel cultural ecosystem that integrates digital preservation of cultural heritage, intelligent management, immersive experiences, and cloud-based services. However, insufficient synergistic integration of technological applications constrains the comprehensive release of the digital construction’s efficacy, while the absence of cultural assessment dimensions hinders the effective articulation of mechanisms whereby digital technology empowers cultural innovation. These concerns collectively constitute the primary impediments hindering museums from attaining sustainable development. The effectiveness of museum digital construction is fully clarified by combining grounded theory qualitative research methods with cultural cycle theory in this study. The Analytic Network Process (ANP) is used to manage interdependent relationships between factors, and cloud models are used to clarify indicator ambiguity, which allows for accurate assessment of digital construction results, consequently bolstering the sustainability of museum digitalization initiatives. The developed ‘qualitative–quantitative’ collaborative evaluation methodology for museum digital construction includes three sub-objectives: technology embedding, value co-creation, and institutional adaptation, as well as five primary indicators and ten secondary indicators. An empirical analysis of the ‘Smart Jiangxi Museum’ digital construction initiative at the Jiangxi Provincial Museum in China indicates that the project has achieved an ‘excellent’ standard. The findings of a previous qualitative study are effectively supported by this conclusion. This study presents a systematic approach for museum evaluation and gives decision-making guidance for museums to attain sustainable use of cultural resources, promote social knowledge transmission, and facilitate green, low-carbon transformation of operational models in the digital era. This study examines how platform-based artificial intelligence resources (PAIRs) influence sustainable performance in e-business ecosystems by shaping stakeholder cognition and behavior. Guided by the Resource-Based View (RBV), the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and institutional theory, we examine the psychological mechanisms—particularly trust in AI and environmental identity—that mediate the relationship between PAIRs and green value co-creation (GVC), with sustainable development (SD) acting as a moderating factor. Drawing on survey data from 466 platform managers in China’s digital economy hubs (Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin), covering diverse industries (e-commerce, consumer goods, healthcare), our data suggest that PAIRs may influence firm performance via GVC, and that this association appears to be stronger under high-SD contexts. Our results underscore the importance of responsible and psychologically informed AI design—such as algorithmic transparency, cognitive load reduction, and ethical calibration—to facilitate stakeholder trust and pro-environmental engagement. This research contributes both theoretically and practically to elucidating how AI integration in e-business can be leveraged for responsible innovation and sustainable value creation. Full article

Against the backdrop of the energy crisis and a rapidly advancing digital economy, electricity–computing synergy has become a strategic pathway to resolve energy constraints in computing power center and overcome renewable energy consumption challenges. This study breaks through the existing single-factor fragmented analysis method and systematically constructs a vertically progressive and horizontally coupled electricity–computing synergy planning model to deconstruct the core elements of computing power center construction and reconstruct the path of electricity–computing value co-creation. It proposes a multi-objective site selection decision-making method for computing power center based on linear weighting and the principle of reusability and universality, effectively avoiding the problem of overall system efficiency loss caused by single-objective optimization. Based on the empirical results from data from 31 provinces in China, this study classifies the endowments for computing power center construction, conducts targeted analyses of each province’s situation, and finds three major contradictions facing China’s computing power center: a spatial mismatch between green energy resources and service demand, a dynamic imbalance between electricity price advantages and comprehensive costs, and structural contradictions between talent reserves and sustainable development. Finally, a multi-dimensional integrated strategy was systematically constructed, encompassing demand-driven initiatives, electricity price adjustments, talent innovation, natural cold-source activation, and network upgrades, to provide guidance and policy toolkits for the government planning of computing power infrastructure development. This paper aimed to analyze the effect of green supply chain integration (GSCI) on sustainable supply chain performance (SSCP), as well as consider the mediating and moderating effects of green innovation (GInv) and green value co-creation (GVCc). This empirical study is based on a survey of 317 senior managers from agro-based companies involved in manufacturing and extractive industries in Nigeria. The empirical research model is examined utilizing partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The discovery entails that GSCI positively and substantially impacted SSCP and GInv. The research suggests that green innovation serves as a mediator in the relationship between GSCI and SSCP. Moreover, green value co-creation exerts a detrimental moderating influence on the GSCI-SSCP paradigm. Meanwhile, the originality of this study emanated from being the first to objectively explore the simultaneous moderating and mediating effects of GInv and GVCc on the relationship between GSCI and SSCP. The COVID-19 pandemic caused unprecedented global disruptions, with the hotel and aviation industries—two critical pillars of tourism—among the hardest hit. This study analyzed 451 hotel-related and 336 aviation-related records from the Web of Science database, applying semantic network analysis to uncover eight clusters of crisis management knowledge: basic functions, crisis response, operational strategies, epidemic prevention and control, crisis perception, innovative services, scope of influence, and internal and external environments. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling identified distinct thematic strategies for each sector. In hotels, these included Digital Innovation Transformation, Monitoring Management Procedures, Emotional Awareness Incentives, and Resilience Mechanism Establishment. In aviation, strategies focused on Green Economic Transformation, Co-creation Value Realization, Passenger Incentive Mechanisms, and Balancing Health Risks. By visualizing co-occurrence relationships and mapping thematic intersections and divergences, this study provides actionable insights into the recovery strategies of these industries. The findings offer robust support for developing targeted management approaches and decision-making frameworks to ensure the sustainable growth of the tourism sector. Full article
