Considering the supply chain of new energy vehicles composed of a local manufacturer, an authorized distributor in the domestic market, and a competitive manufacturer in the export market, this paper studies three different cases of parallel export as well as their decisions about prices, sales scale, and the degree of production differentiation. Three game models are constructed and solved under the cases of no parallel exports (CN), authorized distributors’ parallel exports (CR), and third-party parallel exports (CT), respectively, and the equilibrium analysis is carried out, and finally, the influence of relevant parameters is explored through numerical simulation. It is found that (1) the manufacturer’s decisions on production and sales are influenced by the characteristics of consumer preferences in local and export markets, the cost of differentiated production, and the consumer recognition of parallel exports; (2) the manufacturers’ profits will always be damaged by parallel exports; (3) differentiated production can reduce the negative impact of parallel exports under certain conditions, and then improve the profits of manufacturers; (4) manufacturers can increase their profits by improving the purchase intention of consumers in the local market, improve the level of production differentiation in the export market, or reducing the cost of differentiation. With the rapid advancement of space technology, satellites are playing an increasingly vital role in fields such as Earth observation, communication and navigation, space exploration, and military applications. Efficiently deploying satellite missions under multi-objective, multi-constraint, and dynamic environments has become a critical challenge in the current aerospace domain. This paper integrates the concepts of game theory and proposes a distributed collaborative task model suitable for on-orbit satellite mission planning. A two-player impulsive maneuver game model is constructed using differential game theory. Based on the ideas of Nash equilibrium and distributed collaboration, multi-agent technology is applied to the distributed collaborative task planning, achieving collaborative allocation and countermeasure strategies for multi-objective and multi-satellite scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper exhibits good adaptability and robustness in multiple impulse scheduling, maneuver strategy iteration, and heterogeneous resource utilization, providing a feasible technical approach for mission planning and game confrontation in satellite clusters. This study introduces a novel tripartite evolutionary game model to analyze the strategic interactions among electric vehicle (EV) aggregators, local governments, and EV users in vehicle–grid interaction (VGI) markets. The core novelty lies in capturing bounded rationality and dynamic decision-making across the three stakeholders, revealing how policy incentives and market mechanisms drive the transition from disordered charging to bidirectional VGI. Key findings include the following: (1) The system exhibits five stable equilibrium points, corresponding to three distinct developmental phases of the VGI market: disordered charging (V0G), unidirectional VGI (V1G), and bidirectional VGI (V2G). (2) Peak–valley price differences are the primary driver for transitioning from V0G to V1G. (3) EV aggregators’ willingness to adopt V2G is influenced by upgrade costs, while local governments’ subsidy strategies depend on peak-shaving benefits and regulatory costs. (4) Increasing the subsidy differential between V1G and V2G accelerates market evolution toward V2G. The framework offers actionable policy insights for sustainable VGI development, while advancing evolutionary game theory applications in energy systems. Full article

This paper explores the strategic implications of technological adoption within shipping logistics service supply chains, with a particular focus on blockchain technology (BCT). When integrating new technologies, supply chain stakeholders evaluate associated risks alongside complexity, profitability, and operational challenges, which influence their strategic behaviors. Anchored in the concept of technology trust, this study examines how different risk preferences affect BCT adoption decisions and freight rate strategies. A game-theoretic model is constructed using a mean-variance utility framework to analyze interactions between shipping companies and freight forwarders under three adoption scenarios: no adoption (NN), partial adoption (BN), and full adoption (BB). The results indicate that risk-seeking agents are more likely to adopt BCT early but face greater freight rate volatility in the initial stages. As the technology matures, strategic variability declines and the influence of adaptability on pricing becomes less pronounced. In contrast, risk-neutral and risk-averse participants tend to adopt more conservatively, resulting in slower but more stable pricing dynamics. These findings offer new insights into how technology trust and risk attitudes shape strategic decisions in digitally transforming supply chains. The study also provides practical implications for differentiated pricing strategies, BCT adoption incentives, and collaborative policy design among logistics stakeholders. Full article

Credit supervision of practitioners in the water conservancy construction market, a vital pillar of national infrastructure development, significantly impacts project safety and the maintenance of order in the industry. From the perspective of indirect supervision, this study constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model involving government departments, enterprises, and practitioners to analyze the dynamic evolution mechanism of credit supervision. By examining the strategic interactions among the three parties under different regulatory scenarios, we identify key factors influencing the stable equilibrium of evolution and verify the theoretical conclusions through numerical simulations. The study yields several key insights. First, while government regulation and social supervision can substantially increase the likelihood of practitioners’ integrity, relying solely on administrative regulation has an efficiency limit. Second, the effectiveness of the reward and punishment mechanism of the direct manager plays a crucial leveraging role in credit evolution. Lastly, under differentiated regulatory strategies, high-credit practitioners respond more strongly to long-term cost optimization, while low-credit practitioners are more effectively deterred by short-term, high-intensity disciplinary actions. Based on these findings, this study proposes a systematic governance framework of “regulatory model innovation–corporate responsibility enhancement–social supervision deepening.” Unlike previous studies, this framework adopts a comprehensive approach from three dimensions: regulatory model innovation, corporate responsibility enhancement, and social supervision deepening. It offers a more holistic and systematic solution for refining the credit system in the water conservancy construction market, providing both theoretical support and practical approaches. As environmental issues become increasingly prominent, the sustainable practices of enterprises, especially measures at the product level, have garnered widespread attention from scholars. Although numerous studies have explored suppliers’ sales strategies for green products, they often overlook the scenario where suppliers simultaneously sell both green and non-green products.This study focuses on the sales mode selection strategies of suppliers when providing green and non-green products through e-commerce platforms. Utilizing a game model, we analyze the equilibrium strategies between suppliers and e-commerce platforms, and conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of key parameters on decision-making. The results reveal that there are significant differences in the strategic preferences of suppliers and e-commerce platforms. However, when commission rates are moderate and green products incur high production costs, these preferences tend to align, leading to Pareto optimal outcomes. Additionally, our findings demonstrate that adopting differentiated sales modes for the two product types can effectively mitigate the problem of double marginalization, thereby enhancing the efficiencyof supply chains. These insights provide valuable guidance for e-commerce platform managers and suppliers in making decisions on sales models for managing multiple types of products. Full article

In China, the recycling system for waste tires is characterized by high output but low standardized recovery rates. This study examines the environmental and health risks caused by non-compliant treatment by individual recyclers and explores the barriers to the large-scale adoption of Pyrolysis Technology. A Tripartite Evolutionary Game Model involving pyrolysis plants, waste tire recyclers, and government regulators is developed. The model incorporates pollutants from pretreatment and pyrolysis processes into a unified metric—Carbon Dioxide Equivalent (CO2-eq)—based on Global Warming Potential (GWP), and designs a Differential Carbon Taxation mechanism accordingly. The strategy dynamics and stability conditions for Evolutionary Stable Strategies (ESS) are analyzed. Multi-scenario numerical simulations explore how key parameter changes influence evolutionary trajectories and equilibrium outcomes. Six typical equilibrium states are identified, along with the critical conditions for achieving environmentally friendly results. Based on theoretical analysis and simulation results, targeted policy recommendations are proposed to promote standardized waste tire pyrolysis: (1) Establish a phased dynamic carbon tax with supporting subsidies; (2) Build a green market cultivation and price stabilization system; (3) Implement performance-based differential incentives; (4) Strengthen coordination between central environmental inspections and local carbon tax enforcement. Implementing hybrid carbon policies is crucial for supply chains’ low-carbon transition. However, the downstream retailer is often passive in low-carbon strategies, leading to fair issues that may influence the decision-making of channel members. Therefore, this study integrates green technology, remanufacturing, retailer’s fairness concerns, low-carbon preference, and hybrid carbon policies into a manufacturer-led supply chain through differential game theory. Then, the equilibrium solutions for each member are analyzed under the centralized case and decentralized case involving a cost-sharing contract for low-carbon promotion. Our results show that centralized decision-making can optimize both the economic and environmental performances of channel members; retailer’s fairness concerns can enhance low-carbon promotional efforts and the cost-sharing ratio for such initiatives, but do not impact low-carbon production efforts. Additionally, a threshold exists on the relationship between retailer’s fairness concerns and the cost-sharing ratio; increased low-carbon preference motivates more efforts in low-carbon production and promotion. Moreover, stricter carbon policies motivate the manufacturer to increase low-carbon efforts, but the retailer tailors its low-carbon promotional strategy according to the unit carbon emissions of products to maintain an adequate level of low-carbon goodwill. This paper investigates the robust tracking control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against external time-varying disturbances. First, by introducing a virtual position controller, we innovatively decouple the UAV dynamics into independent position and attitude error subsystems, transforming the robust tracking problem into two zero-sum differential games. This approach contrasts with conventional methods by treating disturbances as strategic “players”, enabling a systematic framework to address both external disturbances and model uncertainties. Second, we develop an integral reinforcement learning (IRL) framework that approximates the optimal solution to the Hamilton–Jacobi–Isaacs (HJI) equations without relying on precise system models. This model-free strategy overcomes the limitation of traditional robust control methods that require known disturbance bounds or accurate dynamics, offering superior adaptability to complex environments. Third, the proposed recursive Ridge regression with a forgetting factor (R3F2 ) algorithm updates actor-critic-disturbance neural network (NN) weights in real time, ensuring both computational efficiency and convergence stability. Theoretical analyses rigorously prove the closed-loop system stability and algorithm convergence, which fills a gap in existing data-driven control studies lacking rigorous stability guarantees. Finally, numerical results validate that the method outperforms state-of-the-art model-based and model-free approaches in tracking accuracy and disturbance rejection, demonstrating its practical utility for engineering applications. In light of the current challenges posed by complex multi-agent interactions and competing interests in integrated energy systems, an economic optimization operation model is proposed. This model is based on a two-layer game comprising a one-master–many-slave structure consisting of an energy retailer, energy suppliers, and a user aggregator. Additionally, it considers energy suppliers to be engaged in a non-cooperative game. The model also incorporates a carbon trading mechanism between the energy retailer and energy suppliers, considers integrated demand response at the user level, and categorizes users in the community according to their energy use characteristics. Finally, the improved differential evolutionary algorithm combined with the CPLEX solver (v12.6) is used to solve the proposed model. The effectiveness of the proposed model in enhancing the benefits of each agent as well as reducing carbon emissions is verified through example analyses. The results demonstrate that the implementation of non-cooperative game strategies among ESs can enhance the profitability of ES1 and ES2 by 27.83% and 18.67%, respectively. Furthermore, the implementation of user classification can enhance user-level benefits by up to 39.51%. Full article

This study takes the dual-channel fresh product supply chain involving the participation of third-party logistics (3PL) as the background to explore how 3PL makes choices between homogeneous and differentiated logistics service strategies and how the supply chain formulates optimal decisions under different logistics service strategies to achieve maximum benefits. This paper constructs a sequential game model of the three-tier supply chain composed of 3PL, a supplier, and a retailer; uses the consumer utility function to describe market demand; and considers different logistics service strategies adopted by 3PL. It compares and analyzes the equilibrium strategies under the traditional retail channel (O Model), the homogeneous cold-chain service dual-channel model (D1 Model), and the differentiated cold-chain service dual-channel model (D2 Model). The results show the following: (1) The D1 Model reduces the transportation cost of the supply chain through economies of scale. Under the D2 Model, the transportation and sales prices of the offline channels are higher than those of the online channels, while the online marketing effort is higher than that of the offline channels. (2) The profits generated by the dual-channel models (D1 Model and D2 Model) are both higher than those of O Model. In most cases, the D1 Model generates the highest system profit. However, in scenarios where consumers are highly sensitive to freshness and marketing efforts, the system profit of the D2 Model is higher than that of the D1 Model. (3) The supply chain has lower pricing and effort input when consumers are more sensitive to prices and higher pricing and effort input when consumers are more sensitive to freshness. These findings contribute valuable insights to the field of supply chain management, particularly in the context of fresh product supply chains involving 3PL. They underscore the importance of considering consumer behavior and logistics service strategies in optimizing supply chain performance and highlight the potential trade-offs between standardization and differentiation in logistics services. The Minority Game (MG) is a paradigmatic model in econophysics, widely used to study inductive reasoning and self-organization in multi-agent systems. Traditionally, coordinated phases in the MG are associated with spontaneous symmetry breaking, where agents differentiate into polarized roles. Recent work shows that policy-based reinforcement-learning can give rise to a new form of symmetric coordination—one achieved without role segregation or strategy specialization. In this study, we thoroughly analyze this novel coordination using tools from complex networks. By constructing the correlation networks among agents, we carry out a structural, functional, and temporal analysis of the emergent symmetric coordination. Our results confirm the preservation of symmetry at the collective level, and reveal a consistent and robust form of distributed coordination, demonstrating the power of network-based approaches in understanding the emergent order in adaptive multi-agent systems. In the context of increasing consumer environmental awareness (CEA), firms are progressively adopting corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies that seek to align profitability with environmental objectives. This paper develops a mathematical model to explore the implications of CSR under two distinct scenarios: one that incorporates both social and environmental impacts and another that focuses solely on environmental concerns. The analysis is situated within a spatial mixed duopoly, where a CSR-oriented firm competes with a purely profit-maximising rival. A game-theoretical framework is employed, in which the CSR firm’s objective function is modelled as a weighted sum of private profits and the environmentally driven welfare of consumers. Equilibrium analysis demonstrates that CSR engagement improves market outcomes relative to a benchmark without CSR and generates positive externalities for the non-CSR firm. Moreover, the scenario prioritising environmental impact alone yields superior sustainability and welfare outcomes for both consumers and firms, despite identical demand and product differentiation conditions. These findings enhance our understanding of how CEA interacts with CSR strategies in imperfectly competitive markets, offering valuable insights for managerial decision-making and the formulation of environmental policy. Gaming is a popular leisure activity with an increasing number of participants worldwide. It has positive aspects as well as a problematic side—Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD). This behavior attracts concern among mental health and education professionals because of possible negative psycho-emotional factors. This study aimed to assess IGD among Japanese and Israeli university students and other young adults. We explored the association of culture and IGD based on gender, burnout, and loneliness. It was hypothesized that IGD would differentiate based on the respondent country (i.e., Japan or Israel) and gender, with males reporting higher levels. Furthermore, IGD would be associated with higher levels of loneliness and burnout, regardless of country. Qualtrics and Excel platforms were used to collect responses to the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale–Short Form, De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale, and Short Burnout Measure (SBM). Data was gathered from a cross-cultural sample of 1318 male and female university students and other young adults in Japan and Israel, between 2022 and 2023. Japanese gamers showed less IGD (p < 0.05); and males evidenced higher levels regardless of their country (p < 0.001). IGD was significantly associated with loneliness (p < 0.001) and burnout (p < 0.001). However, multiple regression analysis showed that IGD is predicted only by burnout and gender (p < 0.001), Adjusted R2 = 0.234. This study provides information for policy, prevention, and intervention purposes targeting burnout particularly among males who are a high-risk group. Additionally, this study contributes to possible joint online program development to reduce IGD among Japanese and Israeli gamers. Further research should examine the association between IGD and loneliness, controlling gender and other factors such as substance use, religiosity, eating behavior, depression, game genre, and motivation to play. Probabilistic selling is a retail strategy in which consumers purchase products without knowing their exact identities until after purchase, with various applications like gaming and retail; a real-world practice involves retailers may unsealing and reselling goods to meet consumer demand for transparency. This disrupts manufacturers’ strategies designed to adopt the uncertainty for segmentation and pricing. Using a vertically differentiated supply chain model structured as a Stackelberg game framework, this study examines how transparency from retailer unsealing affects profitability, consumer surplus, and market dynamics. Key findings include the following: (1) Unsealing increases retailer profits by aligning pricing with heterogeneous consumer willingness to pay. (2) Introducing a manufacturer’s direct channel reduces unsealing profits via price competition. (3) Unsealing creates conflicts between manufacturers’ design goals and retailers’ profit-driven incentives. By applying a Stackelberg game framework to model unsealing as a downstream transparency decision, this work advances the probabilistic selling literature by offering a structured approach to analyzing how downstream transparency and retailer strategies reshape probabilistic selling and supply chain dynamics. It highlights the need for manufacturers to balance segmentation, pricing, and channel control, offering insights into mitigating conflicts between design intentions and downstream market behaviors.
