Obesities Accepted into Emerging Sources Citation Index in Web of Science

We are pleased to announce that Obesities (ISSN: 2673-4168) was selected for coverage in the Science Citation Index Expanded/Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science) in July 2024. Obesities is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies of obesity in the areas of nutrition, diabetes, bariatric surgery, public health, pediatrics, basic science, exercise, eating disorders, psychology, genetics, biochemistry, physiology, and the molecular, metabolic, and epidemiological aspects of obesity and related disorders. Articles based on novel ideas presented in cellular- and animal-level studies are welcome, as well as those involving human trials and epidemiological studies. The journal’s aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There is no restriction on the maximum length of published papers. We also encourage the publication of timely reviews and commentaries on topics of interest to obesity research.
