New Journal Cosmetics (ISSN 2079-9284) Launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of Cosmetics, a new journal providing an advanced forum for fundamental and applied research on skin, cosmetic product formulations and ingredient research, clinical and experimental research including cosmetic surgery, and light sources and technical devices for dermatological treatment. The journal is led by the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Dr. Enzo Berardesca of the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute, Italy.

In his opening editorial, Prof. Berardesca discusses the need for a new journal in this area.

The journal Cosmetics welcomes reviews, original research papers, communications, case report, letters and short notes in the fields of cosmetic research. Papers dealing with the assessment and evaluation of cosmetic efficacy and safety, in vivo or in vitro, regulations and legal aspects of cosmetic advertising will be particularly welcomed.
