Welcome message from the Chair:

Welcome to the Corticosteroid’s webinar organized by the ournal of Medical Sciences (ISSN: 2076-3271). This webinar will cover controversial topics such as the administration of corticosteroids in sCAP, a frequent respiratory infection and a very lethal disease.

After a short introduction by myself, Prof. Marco Confalonieri from Triestre will review the complex issue of the physiology of corticosteroids administration in critically ill patients, and Prof. François-Dequin from Tour will provide an in-depth review on the current evidence, including the pros and the cons, for administering corticosteroids in sCAP.

Following the two presentations, there will be a debate and a Q&A session with our two speakers.
