Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The aim of this Special Issue is to provide a comprehensive platform for advancing knowledge and clinical practice in veterinary reproduction and surgery. This Special Issue will focus on the elucidation of pathogenic mechanisms underlying reproductive disorders—such as endometritis, metabolic reproductive syndromes, and infectious infertility—across companion animals, livestock, and wildlife. Additionally, we seek to showcase innovative surgical techniques and technologies, including minimally invasive procedures, precision surgery, and perioperative management strategies, that improve outcomes in both large and small animal species.
A key scope of this Issue includes the integration of research and clinical practice—translating laboratory findings into effective prevention and treatment protocols, exploring novel diagnostic tools, and sharing practical insights into managing complex reproductive conditions. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of surgical education and skill development within veterinary training, highlighting simulation-based learning, effective teaching methodologies, and assessments of clinical competency.
We welcome the submission of original research articles and systematic reviews that contribute to a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms, therapeutic interventions, and educational frameworks in this evolving field. In this Special Issue, we intend to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, clinicians, and educators to promote animal health and welfare through science-driven clinical solutions.
