The Vallis Aurea Conference explores a broad range of contemporary themes in sustainable tourism, hospitality, and rural development. This year’s edition focuses on key challenges and opportunities related to the green transition, circular economy, digital and smart technologies, artificial intelligence, cultural and creative industries, innovative tourism products, education, governance, and community engagement.

Participation, presentation, and publication are free of charge, and attendees may join either in person or online. We are also pleased to announce that MDPI joins the conference as an international publishing partner.

Publication Opportunities and Awards

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
The five best conference papers will be granted free publication in an extended form in the Tourism and Hospitality journal (MDPI), within the Special Issue
“Sustainable, Smart and Inclusive Perspectives in Tourism and Hospitality” (Q2, indexed in Scopus).

In addition, this conference will feature a Best Paper Award, including a financial prize for the most outstanding scientific contribution.
