A modified Nambu–Jona-Lasinio Model with lattice structure is very instructive. It shows several similar problems and their solutions as the Lattice QCD. We study the limits of the large box size, small cell size and realistic pion mass. In particular, we study the relation of the discrete (bound state) solutions to the physical scattering states, for example the pion–pion scattering.

We present the dipole cosmological principle, i.e., the notion that the Universe is a Copernican cosmology that agrees with the cosmic flow. It suits the most symmetric paradigm that generalizes the Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker ansatz in the context of numerous suggestions that have appeared in the literature for non-kinematic components in the cosmic microwave background dipole. Field equations in our “dipole cosmology” are still ODEs, but we now have four instead of two Friedmann equations. The two extra functions can be regarded as additional scale factors that break the isotropy group from SO(3) to U(1) and a “tilt” that denotes the cosmic flow. The result is an axially isotropic Universe. We examined the dynamics of the expansion rate, anisotropic shear, and tilt in some cases. One important observation is that the cosmic flow (tilt) can grow while the anisotropy (shear) dies down.

A brief recollection of the problems related to a significant hyperon polarization observed in
-collisions is given with an emphasis on the general role of spin in the dynamics of hadron interactions. The old, unsolved problem of the observation of a significant hyperon polarization can provide new insights as a result of the measurements of energies at the LHC; in combination with other measurements, these can be used to tag the QGP formation in
-collisions with colliding beams. Polarization studies in the processes of hyperon production do not require the use of polarized beams or targets and can be performed in the existing experimental environment at the LHC. Model predictions based on the chiral dynamics and pictures of the impact parameter are presented for the illustration of a possible dynamical mechanism that leads to a hyperon polarization.

Transport properties of dense QCD matter are discussed. Using the Kubo formula for conductivity, we discuss some topological aspects of quark matter during the chiral transition. The close relation to Weyl semimetal is pointed out and anomalous Hall effect is demonstrated to be possible. In particular, it is shown that the spectral asymmetry of the quasi-particles plays an important role for the Hall conductivity in the magnetic field.
