Dear Colleagues,
Please consider submitting your manuscript to the Special Issue titled “Green Technologies for Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Remediation” in Sustainability. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please pass on the email. The deadline to submit is 31st July 2021. We aim for the rapid publication and wide dissemination of research results, while maintaining a rigorous peer review procedure.
This Special Issue is dedicated to publishing novel research works that are developing and promoting innovative green technologies for wastewater treatment and cleanup strategies to restore contaminated sites, while promoting environmental stewardship. The sustainable development of green technologies and cleanup strategies can help increase environmental protection, but does not preclude economic development and social benefits. In this Special Issue, we welcome a broad range of manuscripts that encompass emerging techniques, technologies and strategies to treat wastewater and ground sustainable environmental remediation.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Sustainability is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
