Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
“Identifying the Best ICT Impact on Organization and Future Directions”
Advances in technology provide stimulation for many emerging innovative techniques to further enrich our daily life experiences. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated the necessity of the transformation of all sectors. To provide a better organizational experience for our lives, an interdisciplinary approach that combines organization with technology is needed. This is a boost that organizations must expand upon to help the next generation by using technologies such as artificial intelligence or other revolutionary technologies to improve the value of the ICT domain for society and for organizations.
Considering the diversity of big data in an organization that includes structured and unstructured data, computational intelligence needs to provide confidence that data privacy and security will be guaranteed. Blockchain has gained popularity in dealing with data security because everyone can directly access information from a decentralized system. Organizations can share many learning data without a physical presence. Blockchain further promises the enhanced effectiveness of experiences such as micro-credential, gamification, and other innovative features in the ICT domain.
With reference to knowledge, much work has been done in this domain, yet significant and applicable blockchain implementation in organizations is still in its infancy. We believe that assembling a research team to develop high-quality, original research articles regarding the impact of ICT and blockchain technology is in line with the theme of this journal and will be impactful in terms of fostering advancements in global ICT.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Applications of smart organization in blockchain.
- Personalization and adaptivity in learning technology systems.
- Empirical studies of micro-credential with blockchain technologies.
- Privacy and security in learning environments.
- Data protection using blockchain and artificial intelligence analytics in organizations.
- Future challenges of blockchain-enabled organization technology.
