Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The continuous expansion of the development scale of renewable energy power stations such as hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic energy production has promoted a diversified development process for the power supply structure of the power system. However, the uncertainty of natural conditions and the rapid development speed have led to serious problems in the absorption of water, wind and electricity in some regional power grids. How to coordinate the conflicts of interests among multiple interconnected power grids has become an urgent engineering optimization problem. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to carry out the research on optimal scheduling and decision-making methods of multi-source power systems and seek the best possible planning and scheduling scheme for optimizing the power structure and improving the absorption capacity of renewable energy.
The gradual increase in the scale of grid connection of renewable energy power stations such as water, wind and light has greatly reduced the contradiction between fossil energy consumption and environmental protection. On the other hand, due to the unbalanced development of the production and consumption of renewable power resources, and the rapid development of some regions, the waste of water, wind, light and other power resources occurs frequently. This involves the economic design of power systems, including how to reasonably dispatch power resources and how to effectively use new energy, which are also two issues that need further study in the development of green energy in the future.
At present, in the economic design of power system, many scholars have studied and paid attention to the power cost, power resources, power environment and the comprehensive utilization and dispatching of power products. In particular, in order to solve the two problems mentioned above, some swarm intelligence optimization algorithms, deep learning, and reinforcement learning methods have been proposed, optimized, and developed.
The topics to be discussed include the development of the new economic dispatching model of the power system, the research of the optimal scheduling algorithm for the utilization of new energy generation resources such as water, wind and light, as well as the intelligent mode of the power system network, and the analysis of the environmental benefits of the power system. In addition, it also includes the application of a swarm intelligence optimization algorithm, evolutionary algorithm and new artificial intelligence algorithm in the power system.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
