13–16 October 2025, Jouy-Josas, Paris, France
14th International Workshop on Advances in Cleaner Production (IWACP)

The "International Workshop on Advances in Cleaner Production" is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary forum designed to facilitate the exchange of information and research findings related to technologies, concepts, and policies rooted in the principles of Cleaner Production. The workshop aims to support the transition toward a more sustainable society.

Cleaner Production is a comprehensive concept that extends well beyond traditional pollution control. It includes the research and development of innovative processes, materials, and products for the efficient use of resources and energy.

Prevention must be the primary approach of governments and corporations in the pursuit of sustainable development. To achieve this, it is essential to implement environmentally friendly strategies that are economically viable, ensuring the robustness of products and services.

The adoption of Cleaner Production practices by governments, companies, and universities is steadily increasing, supported by technical assistance and training programs. However, it is important to emphasize that these initiatives—no matter how widespread the implementation—do not, on their own, guarantee the achievement of sustainable development. There is still a lack of crucial scientific knowledge and a well-established engineering framework specifically geared toward sustainable development.

Objectives: The "14th International Workshop on Advances in Cleaner Production" will be held from October 13 to 16, 2025, and serves as an international forum dedicated to advancing knowledge and collaboration in the field of Cleaner Production. The workshop aims to promote the following:

  1. Exchange of academic information across disciplines;
  2. Presentation of recent achievements;
  3. Discussion of shared challenges and their possible solutions;
  4. Connection between academic knowledge and corporate experience;
  5. In-depth dialogue around event’s theme: “Pathways for Aligning Cleaner Production with Planetary Boundaries: Green Innovation, Decarbonization and Circularity in Action”.
