Special Issue Information

Nowadays, electrified powertrain has been widely already applied in different means of delivery such as automotive, civil aircraft and ship, which brings significant benefits in energy conservation and pollution reduction. On the one hand, as the pursuit of performance improvement including operation efficiency, ride comfort, and also reliability is continuously pushing forward, advance condition monitoring and health management for electrified powertrain has attracted increasing attention in both academic and industry communities. On the other hand, the fast development of artificial intelligence, Internet of things, and also network communication technology also brings new opportunity and vast space to conduct advanced condition monitoring and health management research for electrified powertrain. This special issue is dedicated to compile latest research and development work contributing to advances in condition monitoring and health management of electrified powertrain system. It will also welcome contributions on developments and applications of electrified powertrain for future vehicle and mobility. Prospective authors are invited to submit their original contributions and reviews to this special issue at Sensors. Topics including but not limited to the following topics related electrified powertrain:

⚫ Multi-sensor information fusion of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Parameter and state estimation of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Fault detection and diagnosis of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Fault prognosis and predictive maintenance of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Cyber-attack detection of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Vibration and noise reduction of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Energy optimization of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Residual life predication of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Reliability testing and assessment of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Heat management of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Reliable and resilient control of electrified powertrain system

⚫ Other advances in condition monitoring and health management technology for electrified powertrain system

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Sensors is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
