Dear Colleagues,
Electromagnetic sensing technologies play an increasingly important role in scientific research, industrial applications, environmental monitoring, and biomedical engineering. Recent advances in sensing hardware, computational electromagnetics, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and data-driven methods have significantly improved the capability of electromagnetic sensing systems for detecting, characterizing, imaging, and monitoring complex targets and environments, applications in non-destructive testing, biomedical imaging, remote sensing, wireless sensing, industrial inspection, and structural health monitoring. Nevertheless, challenges associated with complex propagation environments, limited measurement data, noise, nonlinear inverse problems, and computational efficiency continue to motivate the development of more accurate, robust, and intelligent sensing approaches.
This Special Issue aims to present and disseminate recent advances in Advanced Electromagnetic Sensing Technologies and Applications, covering theoretical, computational, experimental, and practical developments. Contributions that introduce innovative sensing methodologies, advanced reconstruction techniques, intelligent algorithms, and emerging applications are particularly encouraged.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Sensors is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
