ESGAR Acute Abdomen Workshop

  • To provide knowledge on an integrated approach of imaging in the diagnosis, treatment and management of hepatic, pancreatic and GI neoplasms.
  • To understand how information obtained by imaging can be used for clinical decision making, treatment planning and response assessment.
  • To learn about new imaging methods, the clinically relevant questions and how the answers impact treatment decision making
  • To attend smaller groups workshops simulating multidisciplinary tumour boards.
  • To interact with teachers in an open atmosphere.
  • To understand each otherˇŻs specialty needs
Target Group:
The target group consists of senior residents and specialist involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with hepatic, pancreatic and GI tract neoplasms (such as radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, surgeons, oncologists, gastroenterologists and radiotherapists), who are interested to learn and improve their knowledge on an optimal approach to multidisciplinary treatment management exploiting the use of imaging.
