Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Drug research, development, and manufacturing have been greatly advanced over the past few years, with an increasing number of new technologies and new tools that can help to develop and manufacture drug products in a more precise and efficient way. For example, 3D-printed drugs are one such new development that makes precision medicine possible. With the approval of the first 3D-printed drug product, more research and development in this field are emerging. Many other research tools have been applied to allow a better understanding of formulation and manufacturing processes. The way that drugs are developed and manufactured has changed.

Therefore, in this Special Issue entitled “Innovative Technology in Drug Development and Manufacturing”, we encourage researchers to present the most recent studies on various innovative and advanced technologies and tools, as well as their applications in drug research, development, and manufacturing. The manuscripts may include research articles, reviews, case studies, and any other types of articles in order to advance the pharmaceutical development.
