Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Nutrition is a key determinant of human health, influencing cellular metabolism, immune responses, and tissue regeneration. Increasing evidence underscores the pivotal role of diet and food-derived bioactives in modulating systemic oxidative stress, inflammation, and skin physiology. Nutritional deficiencies, as well as targeted supplementation, can profoundly affect not only dermatological health but also the overall homeostatic balance of the body.
This Special Issue, “Nutrition and Food Supplements for Human Health: Exploring Strategies for Skin and Whole-Body Wellbeing”, invites original research and reviews addressing the molecular mechanisms, clinical outcomes, and innovative therapeutic approaches linking nutrition, nutraceuticals, and integrative health. The goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how dietary interventions can support skin integrity, slow aging processes, and promote long-term well-being.
