Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

As a gynecological pathologist, I have witnessed firsthand the rapid evolution in diagnostic criteria, molecular classification, and personalized management of gynecologic diseases. The growing integration of morphology with immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology has profoundly transformed our diagnostic approach, requiring continuous updates and critical appraisal of emerging data. My motivation in guest editing this Special Issue is to provide a focused and practical resource for pathologists, highlighting key developments that directly impact daily diagnostic practice. This issue aims to bridge current knowledge gaps, present consensus recommendations, and spotlight areas of diagnostic uncertainty or controversy. By bringing together expert contributions, we hope to facilitate confident, accurate diagnoses and foster a deeper understanding of the pathogenesis and clinical implications of gynecologic disorders.

I am honored to contribute to “Clinical Updates on Gynecological Pathology” and trust this issue will serve as a valuable tool for practicing pathologists and trainees alike.
