Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Heart failure and hypertension are two of the most pressing concerns in the field of cardiovascular care, with a significant impact on patient outcomes and healthcare systems throughout the globe. Despite significant advancements in medication, device-based therapies, and diagnostics, the burden of these diseases is still rising, because of rising comorbidity rates, aging populations, and lifestyle choices. In addition, hypertension remains one of the main risk factors for the onset and advancement of heart failure. This fact emphasizes the need for comprehensive approaches to the prevention, early identification, and best management of this disease.

This Special Issue aims to present the most recent evidence on the intricate relationship between hypertension and heart failure. New pathophysiological processes, identifying biomarkers, developments in imaging and monitoring technologies, and advanced treatment approaches—from device therapy and patient-centered care models to pharmaceutical innovations—are among the subjects we aim to cover. Through showcasing both scientific advancements and real-world difficulties, this Special Issue seeks to give clinicians, researchers, and policymakers a thorough picture of the field's current state and future directions. Ultimately, the objective is to promote greater comprehension, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the conversion of innovative research into better results for patients with chronic heart failure and hypertension.
