Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Liver disease is a general term that refers to any condition affecting the liver. It may develop for different reasons, such as acute or chronic hepatitis by viral, toxic, autoimmune and other causes, fatty liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver cirrhosis and liver failure. There have been many studies on novel challenges and advances of liver disease, but the field still needs continuous effort and research.

The aim of this Special Issue of JPM is to evaluate and discuss novel challenges and advances in liver disease. It includes the study of disease mechanism, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, medical management, surgical management and prognosis.

We invite colleagues around the world to share their experience and knowledge on novel challenges and advances in liver disease with original studies, reviews or communications in order to develop this important field.
