This webinar will bring together leading international experts to discuss pressing challenges and emerging solutions in ocean conservation, marine sustainability, and technological innovation in celebration of World Oceans Day 2026. The session will explore varied important topics, such as marine protected areas, marine pollution and microplastics, blue carbon ecosystems and climate adaptation, and advances in deep-sea exploration and engineering. Through considering both interdisciplinary perspectives and global collaboration, the webinar will highlight current scientific developments, encourage dialogue across fields, and inspire meaningful action toward protecting the future of our oceans.
