10th Anniversary
The Journal of Intelligence launched in 2013 with a mission to offer an open access journal that moves forward the study of human intelligence: the basis and development of intelligence, its nature in terms of structure and processes, and its correlates and consequences, also including the measurement and modeling of intelligence. Join us in looking back at the journal’s history and celebrating this milestone of our journal.
Journal History

The inaugural issue was released, which included 4 papers. J. Intell. was published as a quarterly journal.

Paul De Boeck became the founding Editor in Chief.
Prof. Paul De Boeck obtained a Ph.D. degree in psychology from KU Leuven, Belgium, with training in mathematical psychology and personality psychology. Until 2009, he was affiliated with KU Leuven as a professor of psychological assessment. From 2009 to 2012, he was affiliated with the University of Amsterdam as a professor of psychological methods. Since 2012, he has been affiliated with the Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) as a professor of quantitative psychology, with a courtesy affiliation at KU Leuven.
