We would like to invite you to the second edition of the International Symposium on Materials Coating Science and Technology (MCST'2025), which will take place on 21-23 November 2025, in Wuhan, China. This symposium is organized by MDPI’s Coatings (ISSN: 2079-6412, IF: 2.9), co-organized by the Advanced Ceramics Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society, and supported by the State Key Laboratory of Material Processing and Die & Mould Technology, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
MCST’2025 will feature 26 thematic sessions covering a wide range of surface coating applications. Leading experts from China will present keynote and invited talks on the latest developments in the field. We welcome all researchers, engineers, and students engaged in coating science and technology to join us.
Due to the strong interest and constructive feedback from the academic community, the submission deadline has been extended to 17 September 2025.

Conference Awards
The Best Poster Awards will be presented at this conference. After an evaluation conducted by the organizing committee, the awards will be given to the ten highest-quality posters.
Ten winners will receive a 50% waiver of the APC in Coatings.
All winners will be issued a certificate celebrating their achievements.
