Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Population aging is one of the most significant demographic shifts in the 21st century, posing complex clinical, organizational, and societal challenges. The increasing prevalence of multimorbidity, frailty, polypharmacy, and functional decline complicates diagnosis and care management strategies. Effective geriatric care requires comprehensive, patient-centered approaches that balance disease control with functional preservation, quality of life, and safety.

This Special Issue aims to provide a forum for high-quality research articles and reviews on emerging trends and clinical advances in the care of older patients. Contributions addressing integrated and multidisciplinary care models, personalized interventions, rehabilitation strategies, digital health solutions, and outcome evaluation in real-world practice are particularly welcome.

By bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives, this Special Issue seeks to identify unmet needs, highlight innovative approaches, and propose actionable strategies to transform geriatric care. We encourage submissions that advance knowledge, foster collaboration, and support the development of sustainable, clinically based solutions for the challenges of aging populations worldwide.
