Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The Special Issue “Energy Projects: Advancements in Infrastructure” calls for papers around scientific, technical, and policy advancements around energy infrastructure.
The global energy scenario is experiencing a historic transition, especially in the field of renewable and low carbon technologies. Technical and scientific developments are being well supported by advancements in infrastructure in wide ranging areas including renewable technologies, electric vehicles, energy storage and smart grids. Wind turbines, for example, ever growing in size and going offshore have taken the involved supply chain and civil works to new limits.
This special issue aims to cover the advancements in infrastructure around energy projects and technologies. Papers are invited on topics including but not limiting to energy infrastructures, energy supply chains, renewable energy projects, wind power, solar energy, hydropower, thermal power, nuclear power, oil and gas, electric vehicles, smart meters, environment, sustainability, life cycle analysis, and life cycle costing. Papers on these topics can have a diverse scope (i.e., scientific advancement and technology innovation, industrial and commercial practices, business and software tools, and case studies).

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Infrastructures is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 1800 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
