Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Ensuring safe, healthy, and fulfilling work environments is a cornerstone of modern public health. Today, bridging prevention and promotion in modern workplaces is the new frontier in worker health, occupational safety, and social well-being. This Special Issue embraces the dual perspective of well-being and being well at work, emphasizing not only the prevention of occupational hazards but also the proactive cultivation of positive health, resilience, and thriving organizational cultures.
Contemporary workplaces face evolving challenges—from psychosocial stressors, aging workforces, and digitalization, to changing employment models and growing attention to equity and inclusion. As the boundaries between work and life continue to shift, integrating occupational safety with comprehensive workplace health promotion is essential to support workers’ holistic health, sustain productivity, and strengthen organizational sustainability.
We invite original research, systematic reviews, theoretical papers, and practice-based contributions addressing innovative perspectives, interventions, and policies that foster safer workplaces and promote the well-being and being well of all workers.
