Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

As global populations age, the intersection of health promotion and long-term care has never been more critical. This Special Issue will explore innovative strategies, policies, and interventions aimed at enhancing the well-being, autonomy, and quality of life of older adults in various care settings. We welcome contributions that address preventive health measures, integrated care models, rehabilitation strategies, and person-centred approaches to long-term care. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, dementia care, fall prevention and management, nutrition, mental health support, and the role of technology in fostering health promotion. By bringing together evidence-based research and practice insights, this Special Issue will advance our understanding and inform best practices with regard to sustaining health and dignity in ageing populations.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
