Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the landscape of modern healthcare, offering new tools to improve diagnostics, enhance clinical decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and personalize patient care. However, translating algorithmic performance into a meaningful, measurable impact on health outcomes remains a major challenge. This Special Issue aims to explore the full spectrum of AI applications in healthcare, with particular emphasis on real-world implementation, clinical relevance, and patient-centered outcomes.
We invite original research articles, reviews, and case studies that address the development, validation, and integration of AI models in various healthcare settings. Topics of interest include—but are not limited to—predictive modeling, clinical decision support systems, medical image and text analysis, wearable technologies, remote monitoring, explainable AI, and the ethical implications of AI in clinical practice.
Submissions that go beyond algorithmic novelty and provide insights into usability, interoperability, health system integration, and demonstrated patient or organizational impact are especially encouraged.
This Special Issue aims to serve as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between data scientists, clinicians, and healthcare policy experts committed to transforming healthcare through responsible and effective AI.
