Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
As the global community confronts urgent challenges related to climate change, resource depletion, and energy security, the need for innovative, evidence-based policies and sustainable energy solutions is more pressing than ever. In particular, the rapidly growing energy demand—driven by digitalization, population growth, urbanization, and technological advancement—poses a significant challenge to achieving a balanced and equitable energy future. Addressing this rising demand requires not only improving energy efficiency and expanding renewable sources but also rethinking consumption patterns and infrastructure planning.
We welcome high-quality submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Renewable energy policy frameworks and regulatory innovations;
- Demand for energy by type;
- Predicting optimal energy mixes for carbon neutrality;
- Energy choice for cooking and/or lighting;
- Economic and energy policy analyses of sustainable energy systems;
- Integration of climate adaptation and mitigation in energy policy;
- Governance models for local, national, and global energy planning;
- Technological advancements and their policy implications;
- Global sustainable energy trade and global supply chain.
