PowerMEMS is the 19th edition of the annual international conference on Micro and Nanotechnology for Power Generation and Energy Conversion Applications. In the past, PowerMEMS has been organized in the following countries: Japan (from 2000 to 2005), USA (2006), Germany (2007), Japan (2008), USA (2009), Belgium (2010), South Korea (2011), USA (2012), UK (2013), Japan (2014), USA (2015), France (2016), Japan (2017), and USA (2018).
The upcoming edition will be hosted in Kraków (Cracow), Poland from 2nd to 6th December 2019. The conference venue will be the Holiday Inn Kraków City Center.
PowerMEMS consists of tracks about entrepreneurship, and about science, applications and market opportunities for micro- and nanotechnologies for power generation and energy conversion.
The PowerMEMS conference provides an excellent opportunity to bring together world scientists and engineers from academia, research institutes, and companies to present and discuss the latest results in the general fields of miniaturized devices and systems for power generation and energy conversion in micro and nano scales. We warmly accept a wide range of topics, from basic principles, materials, to fabrications, that result in applications and markets in all energy domains including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, chemical, thermal, magnetic, electrostatic, ferroelectric, optical, nuclear, and fluidic. The conference goals are to stimulate interactions and knowledge exchange between the delegates in a friendly atmosphere.
