Brief Description
The Eighth International Conference on Data Mining and Big Data (DMBD'2023) serves as an international forum for researchers and practitioners to share the latest advantages in theories, algorithms, models, and applications of data mining and big data as well as artificial intelligence techniques.
The DMBD'2023 is the eighth event after the preceding Beijing, Guangzhou, Belgrade, Chiang Mai, Shanghai, Fukuoka, and Bali events. Hundreds of delegates from all over the world can attend and share their latest innovative achievements, ideas, designs, and implementations. Papers presented at DMBD'2023 will be published by Springer-Nature in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) (indexed by EI, ISTP, DBLP, SCOPUS, ISI Web of Science, etc.). The downloads of our meeting's proceedings reach the top 25% of all publications of Springer-Nature. Some high-quality papers will also be selected for SCI-indexed journals (including IEEE Trans, Neurocomputing, Machine Learning with Applications, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, Entropy, Electronics, Multimedia Tools and Applications, Research Reports on Computer Science, etc.).
The main theme of DMBD'2023 is "FinTech empowered by Big-Models". Recent years have witnessed an explosion in the amount of financial data. Novel FinTech technologies, such as artificial intelligence and data mining, and in particular big models, have stimulated an increasing number of financial products, services, and opportunities. Several complex problems, such as investment decision making, macroeconomic analysis, and asset credit evaluation, exist in the field of finance. After witnessing several promising achievements of FinTech, DMBD’2023 presents a special focus on FinTech empowered by big models. It aims to collect a wide range of articles on both data mining and its application to finance, and encourages original high-quality research papers that focus on novel approaches to using AI techniques to solve finance problems.
Additionally, DMBD'2023 will involve sessions and tutorials organized by world-renowed professors, experts, and active researchers for you to participate in.

DMBD'2023 will be held from December 9th to 12th, 2023, in Sanya Harman Resort Hotel, Sanya, China. Sanya, located on Hainan Island, also known as Lucheng or "Eastern Hawaii", is the southernmost tropical coastal tourism city in China. It ranks first among China's four first-tier tourist cities "Sanwei Hangxia" and boasts the most beautiful seaside scenery on the island. Sanya is an amazing place with beautiful beaches, rainforests, coral reefs, and mountains, as well as rich culture and cuisine. Yalong Bay, known as the "first Bay under heaven", has a silver beach, fine sand, clean and transparent sea water.
