Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Oral and maxillofacial surgery plays a critical role in addressing a wide range of congenital, traumatic, and acquired conditions in children. With ongoing advancements in surgical techniques, diagnostic tools, and patient care, the field has made significant progress in improving outcomes for pediatric patients; however, challenges remain in optimizing treatments, reducing risks, and ensuring long-term oral and facial health. This Special Issue, “Current Progress and Future Trends in Children Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery”, aims to highlight recent innovations and emerging trends, such as minimally invasive procedures, imaging, and personalized medicine. It also seeks to explore future directions that may shape the field, focusing on how interdisciplinary collaboration, technology, and patient-centered care can continue to enhance the quality of care for children requiring oral and maxillofacial surgical interventions. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and short papers covering issues related to the impacts of child oral and maxillofacial surgery.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
