Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on the biological mechanisms driving brain tumor initiation, progression and treatment resistance, with an emphasis on translational opportunities for patient care. We welcome original research and high-quality reviews addressing tumor pathophysiology, molecular and metabolic reprogramming, tumor microenvironment and immune evasion and clinically relevant biomarkers. Particular interest is given to innovative therapeutic approaches, including targeted therapies, immunotherapy, metabolic interventions, drug delivery strategies and multimodal combinations. Contributions integrating advanced neuroimaging, radiomics, artificial intelligence and intraoperative tools to support precision neuro-oncology are also encouraged, aiming to bridge mechanistic insights with improved diagnosis, stratification and personalized treatment.

Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Biomedicines is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
