MDPI Reviewer Club 2025 Webinar | Chemistry, Material and Physical Sciences Session, 18 September 2025

At MDPI, we recognize that peer review is the cornerstone of scientific progress. The integrity and quality of our journals rely on the careful evaluations of our reviewers. In 2024, more than 215,000 reviewers submitted over 1.2 million reports—a testament to the strength of our community.

The MDPI Reviewer Club series was created to honor this vital work and to provide a forum for sharing experiences, best practices, and fostering collaborations across the physical sciences.

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming webinar—“MDPI Reviewer Club 2025 | Chemistry, Material and Physical Sciences Session”.

This session will spotlight peer review in chemistry, materials science, and physical sciences—fields where collaboration and precision are crucial for advancing innovation.

Session highlights:

  • Peer Review in Astrophysical Journals;
  • Advancing Knowledge Through Peer Review: A Perspective from Chemistry, Material and Physical Sciences;
  • Key Aspects When Reviewing Manuscripts in the Battery Field.

With speakers’ consent, presentations will be recorded and shared on MDPI platforms to encourage ongoing dialogue.

This marks the only session of the MDPI Reviewer Club 2025 dedicated to chemistry, material and physical sciences. Each session offers fresh perspectives, cross-disciplinary learning, and a platform to celebrate our reviewers’ invaluable contributions.

Keywords: peer review, chemistry, materials science, physical sciences, nanomaterials, astrophysics, solid-state batteries, research integrity, scholarly evaluation, interdisciplinary collaboration
