Dear Colleagues,
Identification of informative biomarkers in cancer research is of importance for all the stages of disease management—early detection, screening, treatment, etc. This Special Issue focuses on the use of advanced molecular technologies and systems biology to understand cancer biology, improve diagnostics, and guide precision therapies. It highlights how molecular profiling can uncover mechanisms of tumorigenesis, identify reliable biomarkers, and enable targeted and precision medicine approaches. It highlights how genetic profiles, liquid biopsies, and integrative molecular approaches are transforming cancer research and clinical practice.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
