Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence techniques for addressing medical challenges are noteworthy. Deep learning models are yielding increasingly precise outcomes across various fields of application. The potential applications of these models, in conjunction with traditional machine learning, are becoming more diverse and varied. Consequently, research in this domain is becoming more complex, and the findings are being swiftly integrated into everyday life.

This Special Issue emphasizes advancements in the development and refinement of methods employed for medical diagnosis. The growing availability and accessibility of hardware for capturing these signals have led to a significant increase in data collection. However, the vast volume of data collected necessitates the development of faster and more efficient methods for data analysis and processing, ensuring accurate diagnoses that are independent of the equipment used or the physician. As data acquisition has become more straightforward and cost-effective, there is an increasing demand for automated processing and analysis to interpret the collected information.

In this Special Issue, we invite submissions that explore groundbreaking research and recent advancements in the application of artificial intelligence in relation to medical diagnosis. We particularly encourage submissions that introduce innovative approaches and assess their impact compared to the current state of the art. Case studies and theoretical studies will also be considered, provided they do not constitute the majority of published papers.

We look forward to receiving your contributions
