6th International Congress on Applied Ichthyology, Oceanography, and Aquatic Environment I HydroMediT 2026
We are excited to announce that the 6th International Congress on Applied Ichthyology, Oceanography, and Aquatic Environment (HydroMediT 2026) will take place in Volos, a city closely connected to the sea and exploration, from the 5th to the 8th of November 2026 at the University of Thessaly. The conference involves a series of national and international stakeholders as co-organizers, supporters and sponsors.
Today, HydroMediT is one of the major international congresses on novel scientific and technological trends in applied ichthyology, oceanography, and aquatic environment in our region—the Mediterranean and its adjacent seas—with increasing participation from the academic community.
General fields of interest:
- Aquaculture;
- Fisheries;
- Oceanography;
- Marine diversity and conservation;
- Inland aquatic ecology and resources;
- Processing of aquatic products;
- Economics and marketing of fisheries and aquatic products;
- Environmental management and ocean literacy;
- Blue economy and governance.
