Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and porcine circovirus infection, especially porcine circovirus type 2, are two of the major concerns for farmers and veterinarians due to their repercussion in the performance of their livestock. Its control and eradication are expensive and challenging processes that require constant health status monitoring, even requiring molecular analysis. Moreover, to their direct impact, their presence also influences the control of other concurrent infections. The aim of this Special Issue is to publish research papers or reviews concerning PRRS and porcine circovirus repercussion for the productive performance of swine farms, advances in control strategies and measures to control other infections in concomitant situations.
