Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP)
The Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP), a group of scientists working in Spain and abroad, attempts to understand how plants and other photosynthetic organisms function, and how they interact with their environment and their associated organisms. The SEBP welcomes scientists working at all levels, from genes and molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems, those applying their knowledge to agricultural improvement or the management of the environment, and those contributing to biotechnological developments. The SEBP is committed to the promotion of science and is a member of the Spanish Confederation of Scientific Societies (COSCE), the Global Plant Council (GPC), the European Federation of Plant Biology (FESPB), and the emerging Iberian–Latin American Federation for Plant Biology (FISBP).
