Pollutants Accepted into Emerging Sources Citation Index in Web of Science

We are pleased to inform you that the open access journal Pollutants (ISSN: 2673-4672) was indexed in ESCI (Web of Science) in September 2025. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to this journal and helped to accomplish this achievement.

Pollutants is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal focusing on contaminants that are introduced into the natural environment beyond permitted limits and cause measurable deleterious effects on air, water, soil, or living organisms. The submission of research articles, reviews, communications, and other article types will be considered.

The aims of Pollutants encompass the ever-increasing borders of environmental sciences, which include, but are not limited to, the following: Public Environmental Occupational Health, Toxicology, Water Resources, Geosciences, Atmospheric Chemistry, Environmental Microbiology, Ecosystem Restoration, Environmental Analyses and Monitoring, Assessment of Risks and Interactions of Pollutants in the Environment, Conservation Biology, and Sustainable Agriculture.
