Cover Story: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly reshaped healthcare systems, particularly impacting trauma care practices within ICUs. In this context, the study conducted at a Level II Trauma Center provides a crucial retrospective analysis on how the pandemic influenced PT mobilization of trauma patients and altered the characteristics of their injuries, unveiling the adaptability and resilience of trauma care in the face of unprecedented challenges. Key findings underscore the sustained effectiveness of PT mobilization strategies, despite heightened obstacles, and document notable shifts in injury attributes.
