Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Author has provided a comprehensive review  of current status of T1D in the review entitled “Novel insights into the immunotherapy-based treatment strategy for Autoimmune Type 1 Diabete”. This review has covered a large portion of targeted immunotherapy based approaches for T1D including their challenges.

Minor comments

Table 1 can be reorganized for the clarity purposes.

Fonts of figure labeling is too small.

Most importantly, English needs to be checked for grammar and syntax.

Thank you for these positive comments about my article and for providing useful comments.

Minor comments

Table 1 can be reorganized for the clarity purposes.

Thank you for your comments; Table 1 has been reorganized and necessary changes have been made; hopefully, it now looks better. Please let me know if any additional changes are required.

Fonts of figure labeling is too small.

I agree with the Reviewer's concern. I have therefore updated the figure labeling.

Most importantly, English needs to be checked for grammar and syntax.

Thank you for your feedback. I checked the entire manuscript with a native speaker as well as online grammar checkers like Grammarly and Quill Bot.

Reviewer 2 Report

It is a manuscript of excellent content, well organized, formatted, and illustrated. It discusses several aspects of Type 1 diabetes (T1D) therapeutic aspects, providing an overview of currently available immune-based therapeutic options, including immune cell-based approaches. References are recent and from renowned sources.

We only suggest some minor revisions to improve the English language and style. As observed in the abstract where it was posted, “I have included”, some terms can be revised to fit academic language better.

I appreciate the reviewer's suggestions; I double-checked the entire manuscript with a native speaker as well as online grammar checkers like Grammarly and Quill Bot. Track changes highlight the modified sentence or references.

I also replaced the sentence "I have included" in the abstract with “This review includes an overview of autoimmune T1D, immune cells involved in T1D pathophysiology, and immunotherapy-based strategies to treat and prevent autoimmune T1D”.
