Spatiotemporal Variations and Convergence Characteristics of Green Technological Progress in China’s Mariculture

In this study, using data from ten coastal regions from 2008 to 2020, the Epsilon-Based Measure (EBM)-Malmquist model is adopted to measure the GTP of mariculture, uses the Dagum Gini coefficient to analyze the spatial differences of GTP, and uses convergence models to explore the convergence of GTP. This paper is presenting interesting results with practical importance related to green technological progress in China’s mariculture. Therefore, this paper can be published after minor revisions as listed below.

1. The details of “green technological progress” are not clear at all, since the paper deals with only statistics. Explain the contents of “green technological progress” in each area (in Tianjin, Hebe, etc.) in China.

2. The relationship between Figure 1 and Table 2 is not clear. The results in Figure 1 can be obtained from Table 1?

3. Figures 1, 3, 4 and 6: Remove the curves connecting each year’s data. It has no meaning in the diagram.

4. Table 4, the 6th column: In stead of “Convergence”, “Convergence or Divergence” will be more suitable.

5. Table 4: Using the obtained “convergence rate”, how can you judge whether “Convergence” or “Divergence”? Is there any objective criterion for the judgement of convergence?

The article "Spatiotemporal variations and convergence characteristics of 2 green technological progress in China’s mariculture" has been written well, but English needs to be improved. 

In the text file, many paragraphs are written without any proper citations. Hene, citations need to be provided especially in the introduction. 

In the 3rd page, formula (6) given is little doubtful, it needs to be clarified. 

Why Dagum Gini coefficient was chosen to measure regional differences in mariculture?

How do you want to explain using heat map of regional differences in GTP?

Fig.6 needs to be explained more precisely.

L 365: The above provides important implications for the sustainable and healthy development of China's mariculture - not very clear. The above needs to be rephrased.

Authors need to provide more literatures overall. 

Some phrases are not clear and hence a moderate English editing needs to be done.

Inserted the Figure in the text, but not provided the figure numbers.

All figure legends are having abbreviations such as GTP, Gw, etc...it needs to be expanded, not abbreviated in the figure legends.

Table 3 - convergence or Divergence is provided at the last column, what does it mean?
