The phenomenon reported in this manuscript is crucial though it has not been discussed in the previous research, to the best of my knowledge. The author(s) present a clear and thorough description of the phenomenon and provide an interesting analysis accordingly.

The authors have nicely improved the manuscript. All the comments that I gave were fully answered. The new subsection 4.2 which elaborates on the differences between le, guo and the bare form of the verb is well-written and the examples are convincing. I am happy to find that the denotation of TP has been spelled out in (51g). With the semantic derivations supplied in this version, I obtain a better understanding about the interaction between the relative clause and the main clause in Mandarin. Except for some typos (occasionally Lùlu is misspelt as Lulu, e.g. Line 267, 292. Please double check), I would be willing to accept the paper for publication.
