The Journal retracts the article “Indoor floor localization based on multi-intelligent sensors” [] cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an overlap between this publication [] and a previously published article [] published by a different authorship group.
Adhering to our complaint procedure, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation that confirmed there was a high level of similarity between these two articles [,], including with respect to equations, an algorithm, several figures and tables, and as the methodology, without proper citation. Consequently, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this publication [], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30) (accessed on 17 September 2025).
This retraction was approved by the Editor in Chief of the journal IJGI.
The authors did not provide a comment on this decision.
