Dear author, your paper is suitable for publication with some enhancement.

1. focus on the result with the originality of the dataset proof.

2.  provide more specifications on the enhancement of outcomes in this research paper.

3. Novelty of the work segment should be emphasized in the introduction as problem identification and result as achieving the objective of the paper.

Review of Article #2138926

Title of the Article: “Trajectory Generation of Ultra-low Frequency Travel Routes in Large-scale Complex Road Networks”

General:

-        The article needs intensive English language revision, there are significant flaws in the main text.

-        Please try to be more concise in the introductory part of the article, pointing only to the most interesting aspects of the problem.

-        The utility of the application and approach the authors propose is less obvious, this should be improved, especially from the practical point of view. Is this only for evaluating the future state of operation of road network, or wear? Or does it also have some other utility?

-        The research is well conducted and explained, but the authors should point where their application is more targeted to: taxi drivers, road network administrations, police, traffic management, etc.

-        Traffic behavior is usually variable in a certain amount. Especially when specific events occur, such as bottlenecking, road closures, accidents, etc. In this regard, how does/will the approach imagined by the authors cope with? Moreover, traffic management & information systems that provide drivers with information regarding route congestion may also influence their decision. In what amount, the solution proposed may be adaptive to such changes in trajectory selection behavior of the drivers?

-        The significance of colors in figure 4 should be explained in the main text. Also, please insert some names, or geographic positions (at lease one, such as reference point) in the figure, to help reader better locate the region of interest that you are referring to. The same for figure 8.

-        Please also insert significance of term η on the vertical axis in right figure 5. The same for ηk in figure 6, δk in figures 7 and 9.

-        Conclusions should emphasize more the utility of trajectory generation in a more practical perspective.

Recommendations:

- Please try to add a small comparison between the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solution, compared to similar ones.

- Also try to add some information regarding the way the solution may be improved in future, and implemented on a larger scale, by reducing the work for calibration.

- The Conclusion section may also contain recommendations for industry sectors that may make use of your solution.
